About Work Rights SG
Work Rights SG is an independent information resource that explains employment rights in Singapore in plain English, so that if something goes wrong at work, you can understand where you stand before you decide what to do.
What we are (and are not)
We are an information site. We are not a law firm, we are not affiliated with the government, and nothing on this site is legal advice. Reading our guides does not create a lawyer–client relationship. For advice on your own situation, you should speak to a qualified employment lawyer.
How we check our information
Every guide is written in plain English and cites primary sources: the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), the Employment Act, the Tripartite Alliance for Dispute Management (TADM), and the courts, so you can verify the rules yourself. We link to those sources on each page. We do not publish figures or claims we cannot point to a source for, and our legal content is reviewed for accuracy by a qualified employment lawyer before we publish it.
How the free consultation works
If you would like a lawyer to look at your situation, you can ask for a free consultation. When you submit an enquiry, we pass your details to our independent legal partner, an employment law firm, so they can contact you. There is no cost to you. We may receive a referral fee from the firm. You are always free to decide whether to go further.
Free, no obligation
